Q. Are there any vacancies?
A. No.
Q. Is there an entrance fee to the farm?
A. No, however as we do not charge an entrance fee to our farm we respectfully request that customers do not bring their own food or drink onto our premises. This includes the car-park.
Q. Is there an age limit for the Playbarn?
A. There is no age limit, but a height limit. The maximum height is 144cm.
Q. Is the Playbarn supervised by the Old Holly staff?
A. Children remain the responsibility of the parent or guardian whilst at play at all times on the farm. If you feel a child is behaving inappropriately or putting others at risk through their play then please speak to a member of our team and we will do our best to support both parties.
Q. Can we bring a picnic to the farm?
A. Picnic's are not allowed anywhere on our premises.
Q. Are dogs allowed on the farm?
A. Small dogs are allowed provided they are on a lead at all times, and do not come into contact with any of our animals. Dogs are not allowed in any of our buildings (including the calf shed) and must remain outside at all times. The only exception being guide dogs.
Owners must clean up after their dogs.
Q. Where is smoking permitted on the farm?
A. Smoking is permitted in the car park only. Smoking is not permitted in the calf shed, outside play area or in the inner courtyard.
Please make sure you use the bins provided when getting rid of butts / rubbish. Litter can endanger our animals - please behave responsibly.
Q. Is the Playbarn suitable for babies?
A. The ground level of the Playbarn is designed especially for 0-3years.
Q. We are having a get together and want to visit the farm, but don't want a Old Holly Party, is this possible?
A. Please let us know if you are organising a group visit, we are happy to reserve tables where appropriate. Please remember that we don't allow customers to bring their own food or drink onto the farm, this includes Birthday cake at a non Old Holly party. We are happy to provide one of our own Home-made Birthday cakes, please contact Alison or Paul to discuss further.
Q. Is there a minimum and maximum number of children allowed at parties?
A. We have a minimum booking of 10 and a maximum of 36.
Q. What if a party guest brings a sibling along, but they are not invited to the party?
A. Any additional guests not invited to the party just pay the normal Playbarn entrance fee of £3. They are welcome to come through to the Party room for the food, but there will only be places set for the party children.
Q. What about babies?
A. Under 1's are free and therefore can come along to the party free of charge. Please be aware that they will not form part of the party numbers, and therefore will not have food provided for them.
Q. Can we provide adult food?
A. We are happy to discuss any requirements you may have, please contact us if you would like to organise food for the adults.
Q. Can we bring our own cake and party bags to the party?
A. Yes.
Q. Can you cater for special diet requests?
A. Yes, please let us know as far in advance as possible of any allergies or special requests that your child or one of the party guests may have.
