Tourism businesses from across Wyre gathered at the Thornton Little Theatre for the annual awards ceremony on the 25th April. The awards organised by Wyre Tourism Association recognise the quality, determination and achievements of tourism businesses. Garry Payne, chief executive of Wyre Council said, “All the winners have excelled in their categories and should be very proud of their achievements. The tourism industry is an essential part of Wyre’s economy and continues to flourish, thanks to the determination and innovation demonstrated by these businesses during difficult economic times”.

We continue to work hard to be environmentally conscious in our business, including planting hedgerow for nesting birds, using local suppliers to reduce our carbon footprint, using low energy LED lighting, installing a composting machine for our kitchen waste, as well as water harvesting.
