C O V I D Update

As we reopen following lockdown, there will now be a £3.50 per person charge to enter our farm. This ticket also includes a free hot drink or ice cream (T&Cs apply). Full details can be found here >>

We are committed to keeping you and our team safe, so we are limiting the number of groups we have on site and also making sure we follow our duty to track and trace all visitors to the farm.

Please note: we work incredibly hard to protect the small entry ticket to the open farm, and remind customers that only food and drink bought on site is consumed on site. This includes the car-park, animal paddocks and outside play area, and all year round. We will politely ask anyone with their own food and drink to put it away. This policy is in place all year round.

Parking: FREE all year round

Is the playbarn open?

The Playbarn is BACK from Monday 24th August! But it’s going to look a bit different….

We have been working hard to work out how best to reopen the softplay, following the strict guidelines and keeping you and our team safe. As you can imagine it’s been a big challenge figuring out how to deliver this. Anyone that has been before will know that our softplay is relatively small compared to other softplays, and although this has always been great for you to be able to keep an eye on your little ones playing, this has presented us with a conundrum over how we can successfully trade with the tight limits on numbers and expectations on our team.

So what will our new normal look like?

To give you the best experience and meet the guidelines, we have decided to run 4 x 90 minute EXCLUSIVE sessions throughout the day. Yes that’s right, you can book the playbarn exclusively for your household.

9am – 10.30am

11am – 12.30pm

1pm – 2.30pm

3pm – 4.30pm

We will be closed in-between each session for cleaning, and we will also be “fogging” the system every night to make sure it is as clean and safe as we can make it. We have always prided ourselves on the standards of cleanliness in our system (and across our farm) and we hope that this will give you confidence to return.

The balls from the ball pit have been removed, but all the other elements remain in place.

Price per session :

£50 (weekends and school holidays)

£35 (mid-week, term time only)

What’s included : exclusive use of the softplay and cafe area, plus every adult will each receive a complimentary hot drink and there will be juice for the children. You can also visit the farm after your session has ended for 30 minutes.

Food and drink : A dedicated member of our team will look after you throughout your session. Food is served until 3.30pm with cakes and drinks available all day. Please remember that we are currently serving a reduced menu as we get used to this new way of working. A polite reminder that picnics are not allowed anywhere on site.

How to book : to book your exclusive session, please give us a call on 01524 791200 (option 2) between the hours of 9.30am and 4.30pm. Payment is required at the time of booking.

We will only be taking bookings for 7 days in advance, as we believe the guidance may change so we want to be able to react quickly.

The open farm, shop and cafe : the new normal will continue on the open farm, please click here for more info. Visitors will not be able to access the playbarn as part of this offer.

The nitty gritty

  • In each session a maximum of only 2 households will be allowed in at once. This can include a support bubble if they form part of your household. This is a really important part of the requirements, please don’t ask us to allow additional households as we just can’t at this moment in time.
  • Bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Entry is for the number of people specified at the time of booking, any additional people will not be permitted entry.
  • Please do NOT visit our site if you or anyone in your household (or bubble) is displaying any signs of COVID19 – including a temperature, a new continuous cough and a loss of taste or smell, OR if you have been asked to self-isolate, OR if you are waiting for a coronavirus test result. Please follow the governments self-isolation guidance.
  • You must still practice social distancing between each household whilst in the building. A useful guide when playing is to stay 2 soft play floor pads apart.
  • Normal softplay rules apply during your visit, all visitors play at their own risk. You are responsible for your children / household whilst on site.
  • Everyone must use the hand sanitiser provided every time you enter the play frame.
  • From 8th August 2020 it is now mandatory for visitors to indoor settings to wear face coverings. This includes when you enter and move around the playbarn building, except when eating, drinking or playing in the soft play frame. Children under the age of 11 and those who have health, age, equality or disability reasons may be exempt.
  • Contactless payment is encouraged where possible please.
